Always take my Volvos to trusty Swedemasters for service and repairs. Today I took one for the California Smog Test. It was fast and painless. I will continue to do this with all my other cars.
My Volvo needed a new battery. I was able to get scheduled for early the next day, and installation took less than a half hour. As always, very professional, friendly service and very clean premises.
The up to the date knowledge and professionalism of Tim and his staff are extraordinary. Their ability to determine the problem and fix it quickly and at a very reasonable cost should convince anyone owning a Volvo to take it here since the dealerships are over an hour drive each way from Santa Barbara.

Excellent, professional and ethical. I've used them for the past 20 years for a Saab and a BMW. They don't mark up parts prices like the other BMW mechanics in town (I know this from experience and from researching parts prices).
