Always dependable service for our 2006 V50. We've got 128,000 miles on the car and are very happy with Tim and his technicians any time we need their help and expertize. It is always nice to have the car washed too before picking it up.

My first time going into Swede Masters was a complete breeze and pleasure! The mechanics were friendly, educational, and went above and beyond with their services. I will be going back for future car needs!

My check engine light went on and I headed to Swedemasters. They fit me in and I was good to go in a couple of hours. I always appreciate how responsive and efficient they are. So glad to have excellent Volvo servicing available in S.B.!

Tim Kitt has provided absolutely excellent, excellent service over the many years I have been taking my 2002 SAAB to him, whether for regular maintenance or for the more major needs of an aging car. Thanks to Tim, I seldom remember that I am driving an 18-year-old car.

Swede Masters is a breath of fresh air after having taken my car to an alternate approved Volvo service since purchasing it in 2003. Swede Masters is interested in developing positive relationships with its clients. It can usually turn around an order in a day or less. Mr. Kitt, Karen and the qualified techs are very straightforward in explaining diagnoses and proposed solutions. They are experienced, understand automotive design, and the pros and cons to alternate repair options. Repair pricing is competitive. However busy Swede Masters maintains a very clean professional shop. Swede Masters personnel are personable and courteous. My recent experiences at Swede Masters with expected new problems on an older car have been no less than pleasant, and consistently positive, equally through soaring temperatures and fog.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, and honestly there is a reason this place is very highly rated for a repair shop. So why a 4 and not a 3 or a 5? For reference my car is a 05 volvo s80 with about 150k miles And, my car always feels better when I leave. The 5 star plug: So I had a huge service done a while back $4,000+ and I would have given 5 stars easy for that experience, happiest I'd ever been with a repair shop (they had my car for a couple days, done early). Super Professional, really knew what they were doing. The 4 star plug: Labor is expensive, which is what it is. I personally have felt all the above ratings. This being said, I would recommend this place because I do feel like my experiences have been better than other places. And I do trust them completely with my car. TL:DR expensive, professional 3 year later edit: I have moved a couple of times since my review (not in SB anymore) and had my vehicle serviced at other locations. Currently at about 220k miles and still going strong. I decided to change my rating from 4 to 5 stars. After having both good and meh experiences, they really do deserve a 5 overall. If I lived in SB I would still have them service my Volvo. They really did do a good job at every service as evidenced by my car still running like a champ.

Once again, great job.

I was, as always, treated with the utmost courtesy, and they took me right away, so that I could just wait while they did the work, then get on with my day. The work was done quickly and efficiently.
